Food & Accommodation
Check out our FOOD & accommodation below…
Local Food Experience:
The local area is famous for olives and olive oil production. The surrounding hills are covered in olive groves, interspersed with other crops like almonds, peaches and cherries. Many edible plants grow naturally along the routes we will walk including wild asparagus, garlic, capers and figs. Tasty organic goats cheese is produced in the nearby picturesque town of Zuheros.
The rich animal and bird life of the region also provides such delicacies as wild boar sausages and partridge pate.
The food will predominantly be based on the Mediterranean diet eaten locally and will include lots of Spanish favourites. Where posible, we will use locally produced organic products.
Meals will be eaten together during the 5 days. Snacks and water will be available throughout the day. Breakfast will be eaten in the dining room in No22. Lunch and dinner will be either in nature, in the form of a picnic or eaten in a local restaurant. There will be a choice of food and Menus will cater for vegetarians, vegans and those with allergies (please advise when booking).
